Greetings there

Greetings there,
Tuesday 10/12/2010 was a good day. I was able to work from home as I do most Tuesdays. Whitney was home with me so it was fun. We cleaned, cooked Tsuven, and edited photos of Pj and Lori’s family. Then we headed out to Costco for a little shopping. Following Costco we studied networking for Munk’s certification.

We went to bed pretty early, but the best part was having the electric blanket we took from mom’s bed. It warmed us up. It especially helped in the morning. Mornings are the worst because it is so, so cold. I wish I could sleep in everyday, but that isn’t my reality. Mine consists of working, cleaning, and cooking, but it is good. I love my doodles and hun.

Work today has been pretty well paced, but it is slowing down, which it usually seems to do in the afternoon. I would love to go home and relax, but not really an option at this point. Today Munk brought BBQ pork and chicken for lunch. It was really good. For some reason I have a slight headache.

After work, Whit and I will go to the temple, which will be nice. It has been too long since I last participated. It is nice having Whit and Kade with us. I have been able to talk to mom a few times since she made it to the Philippines via messenger and email. She seems to be doing well. I can’t wait till they have everything set up and I can call directly. It would be so nice to be there with them and work in the embassy.

I am still waiting to hear back on how I did with the FSOT. I somewhat would rather never hearing how I did because I don’t feel I did very well, but who knows. Try, try, and try again. That is all I can do, so it is all I do. I haven’t met with my study group since, but I am sure they are keeping busy.

Well, I better be off.
More to come –

Doodle Summer

I wanted to go back to Washington state really bad and finally we planned a 10 day long vacation to the Northwest. It was a road trip with our hybrid, we put on about 3500 miles on it. We visited many people and saw many things. We drove from salt lake to Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. We had interesting experience in Portland after following dragon diner on our gps which turned out to be exotic dancing place. We visited the Heaps and spent a night there in their RV and visited Rochester ward and met many people.

We headed to Tacoma and spent a night at Fordhams and met Pryors. The next morning we went to see Tacoma zoo and was glad that we were there early before annoying tourists came there. Also glass museum was entertaining.

We drove to all the way around Olympic peninsula and visited towns such as Forks and Port Angeles. Then we took Seattle ferry from Bremerton to Seattle and visited the Keplers and ate at Mongolian food place.

We drove from Seattle to Maple valley to see sister Despain and her husband in Enumclaw. From there we drove to Vancouver. The city was fun we saw winter Olympic torch etc. We enjoyed our northwest trip and after our Mexico trip we have few more trips to do in the US including Upstate New York(Church sites and Niagara fall) Washington DC, Florida and Caribbean.

some random things we did this summer

Helped volunteering for General Conference in April and Oct.
Young Men calling and now Primary.
I got C+ rating on SF4.
Doodles got kittens and bought us ninja blades.
I got nexus one and Ash is getting galaxy s.
Attended mission reunion in Midway.

We relocated everything in our place and made some upgrade from Ikea.

Fading Fall

Greetings from the Enkhbolds in SLC!
Life is going splendid as we have added one to the family. His name is Dex, yes like the phone book or serial killer, Dexter. He is a little chubby Siamese, piercing blue eyes and all. The reason being for this addition is that I have started working at Western Governors University. It is a pretty nice job, but I hope to move into a better, high paying position fairly soon. Now Munkhtur and I work in the same building, I on the 8th floor and him on the 4th. We drive to work together and eat lunch together in the stair well. So what can I say, life is good.

Lately Munkhtur and I have conquered Uncharted 2, a ps3 game. We continue to play online and lose much sleep, but we survive. I am still awaiting my FSOT results. I am some what anxious, but know that what is meant to happen will be.

Funny Things:
-My Mongolian vocabulary

-Munkhtur slapping a stranger on the game Little Big Planet and the stranger smiling afterwords

-Munkhtur continuously sniffing the kitty bums

-Munkhtur being so consumed in fixing his linux laptop that he has made it a female and repeats “I can’t give up on her.”

-Munkhtur dancing in the kitchen in front of Katelyn and Karla

-Koob freaking out when we take his poopies from the litter box

Anyways….there are plenty more…but that is good for now.

Love, the Enkhbolds!
